We want to help you achieve financial independence at every stage of your life.

Each of our clients has unique needs and desires, their own idea of “financial independence,” their own values and ways they want to spend their hard-earned money.

Our job is to help you to first recognize what you want and then attain it.

About

Moylan Kropp is a comprehensive financial planning firm dedicated to tailoring recommendations for each individual client.

Our specialty is bringing all aspects of your financial and non-financial life into focus and then creating a realistic plan for the most efficient way to reach your unique goals.

We work as a team, and we seek to develop long-term relationships with our clients. We house a full team — four Certified Financial Planner™ professionals, an estate planning attorney, and an accountant — under one roof to provide you the best service possible.

We believe in being straightforward and honest in our financial advice. You can expect to be treated with professionalism, confidentiality, respect, and a commitment to always provide a plan tailored for your individual needs.

We help all kinds of clients with all kinds of needs, and we’d love to help you.

Approach

At Moylan Kropp, we know that our services will be most helpful when we can develop a lifelong relationship with you. We truly want to walk with you through your financial life. We aim to be a resource to answer your questions and guide you in the most effective way to reach your goals.

Education is very important to us — we want you to understand your options and be able to make confident decisions. And we have a full team to answer your every financial question. Our team is constantly collaborating to provide robust comprehensive financial plans for our clients.

Our process

At the beginning of our relationship with you, we will dive in and get to know all about you and your desires and goals. Below is an outline of how our process typically works.

  1. Gathering your materials.

We’ll send you our questionnaire. You fill in what information you can, if you’re comfortable. Or you can familiarize yourself with it.

We’ll also request that you collect any financial statements, including:

    • 401(k), 403(b), and/or IRA statements
    • bank statements
    • insurance statements
    • most recent tax returns
    • stocks, mutual funds, and/or brokerage statements
    • estate planning documents

Gather whatever information will tell us about your financial situation. The more you disclose, the more accurately we can tailor a plan for you.

  1. Discovery meeting.

This is an in-depth meeting where we try to learn all we can about your current financial situation and what you want to steer toward in your future. We will go over the questionnaire and ask several more questions about what you wrote down and about your goals. Again, the best advice comes from a full picture.

  2. We create your personalized comprehensive financial plan.

We take all the information we’ve gathered from you and then work internally as a team to analyze what we’ve learned. From there, we will write up recommendations and prepare a plan for you.

  3. The reveal.

We’ll meet with you again to go over the comprehensive financial plan we’ve prepared for you. We’ll include some tangible steps for how you can meet your goals and hopefully exceed them.

  4. Commitment and acceptance.

We give you time to decide if our comprehensive financial plan fits your goals. When you do come on board with us, we promise to put your life first and serve with humility.

  5. Ongoing guidance.

At a minimum, we will meet annually with you to review your plan. Some clients prefer to meet multiple times a year, and we are happy to meet then, or if you have a key life event happening (such as retirement, a child or grandchild being born, or a death in the family). These can also be important times to gather.

Fees

Our discovery process and plan have no costs or obligation. All fees and commissions will be discussed in your comprehensive financial plan.
