Sheri graduated from the University of Nebraska with a bachelor of Fine Arts degree. After college, Sheri and her husband Michael lived the nomadic life of hotel management moving from Texas to California to Florida, then settled in Valley, Nebraska.
Sheri and Michael have 3 grown sons and one grandson. Sheri enjoys spending time on the lake.
